    One of the features is security. The design stops unauthorised access. No system is a 100% secure but it will depend on the particular module you are trying to circumvent and your skill in that module. If the implementation of module does not support the business process you are trying to achieve it will be easier to get the module changed than to write and integrate a workaround without the proper authorisations.
