getting “Suspended (tty output)” on unix script?

I have a script (run as root) that then logs in as a user (oracle) to start up the database on the server. Then logs in as another user (testmgr) to load up the oracle application server on the box.

The script is:
#!/usr/bin/sh -v

su – oracle <

echo "Starting up the database `date`"

. /m/net/2/oracle/etdb/9.2.0/et_epsilon.env

sqlplus < / as sysdba
startup
DBAEOF

sleep 30

echo "Done with DB"

ORAEOF

su – testmgr <

/m/net/2/oraapps/etcomn/admin/scripts/et_epsilon/adstrtal.sh apps/apps

sleep 60

MGREOF

I get the Suspended (tty output) right after it prints out "Done with DB"
If I type "fg" then it runs properly.

I've run out of ideas… anyone got solutions?

I’m thinking about taking some web programming courses.?

Hi,
Myself and wife have already applied for ACS verification and both has come positive. Now we are yet to process DIACC processing, before that I would like to know the latest GSM points system for independent skilled migration process. My wife is primary application and she got IELTS – 7 and 6 above in all areas. Job experience 6+ year in Oracle Apps development. Myself has 5 + years of IT expereince and IELTS score above 6 for all areas. ACS outcome shows we are eligible for 60 points. Could you tell me as per new points system announced will we be able to proceed for DIACC?

I am getting this error in SQL plus reports in Oracle Apps env.
I found the reason why it’s happening. It’s the parameter problem; use &1, &2 for parameters &org_id and &loc_id. I think the sqlplus reports has some problem with meaningful parameters, particularly when registered in oracle Applications. Thanks, balla

Why is SAP so popular?

It appears to me that SAP is not particularly user friendly. As there are so many vendors offering products in ERP, many of them smaller, specialized in market segments and more user friendly. Why is it that SAP is so popular? Is Oracle also not too user friendly???

Other than SAP, oracle apps any other course in software for MBA . i done degree in Arts.
